Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Chiropractic the right choice for me?
A: Everyone can benefit from Chiropractic care. Regardless of symptoms, it is always an appropriate time to have a spinal assessment. Chiropractic is a natural approach to health and should always be considered when a condition presents itself. Maintenance care will enhance function and offer prevention of future problems. After a brief spinal exam, your results will be explained, and the choice is always yours.
Q: Does Chiropractic hurt?
A: I utilize very gentle and safe Chiropractic and Massage techniques, so it should never hurt. Sometimes when working on irritated joints and tissues, there is inflammation, so tenderness may be felt in those areas. Always let your doctor know if you are uncomfortable and treatment will be modified to your comfort level.
Q: How long will it take?
A: Your initial visit includes an exam, and will be approximately 45 minutes. Follow up visits last between 15-30 minutes, depending on your individual needs for that day.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The Initial Exam is $125 and Chiropractic treatments are $75. Payment is collected at the time of service. Insurance forms will be provided for you to submit to your health insurance company, and you will be reimbursed directly. To determine what you will be reimbursed, contact your insurance company and ask what the out-of-network Chiropractic benefits are for your plan. Massage Therapy fees are as follows: 30-minute - $75 and 60-minute - $130.
Q: Once I start Chiropractic, do I have to come forever?
A: How long you decide to benefit from Chiropractic care is always up to you. Once someone notices the positive results of regular Chiropractic adjustments, they usually decide to come in for regular check-ups to maintain a healthy spine.
Q: How do I know if Chiropractic or Massage Therapy is the right choice for me?
A: I offer a complimentary consultation that will allow time to discuss your problem area and briefly assess your condition. This will help us determine the treatment option that is best for you.
